If you’re ready for a vacation in one of the most beautiful locations in Kauai, try this very private and peaceful condo located at the Hanalei Bay Resort. The resort is nestled on the bluffs overlooking Hanalei Bay and the romantic Bali Hai (Mount Makana) from the movie South Pacific. Hanalei Bay Resort has access to a beautiful beach that offers a breathtaking view of the bay of Hanalei and Bali Hai. The beach is a 10 minute walk from a path inside the resort. It is perfect for snorkeling, and the gentle waves make it an ideal family spot.

This is a top-floor condo with ground-level access that has been professionally decorated with upscale Hawaiian furniture. It is a one-bedroom condo (1535/36) with 2 full baths, full kitchen, and a loft. The condo can be rented as a full unit measuring approximately 1,100 square feet of floor space, or with each unit locking off from the other. The full unit sleeps 4, each side sleeping 2.

There are high-vaulted ceilings on both sides giving it a very open, bright and spacious feel. The condo is perfect for one or two couples, or a family with one or two children. Each side of the condo offers air conditioning.

The master bedroom can be rented separately and is unit 1536. It has been decorated with a beautiful tropical bedroom set. Many tenants have commented on the comfort of the king-size bed. The lanai on this side has teak furniture where you can sit and enjoy the mountain/rainforest view. This side offers a dressing area, full bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and utensils - everything one should need for smaller meals. It also comes equipped with iron, ironing board and hair dryer.

The studio side (1535) of the condo has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining, living area, and washer/dryer. The lanai is right outside the living area and provides a perfect spot to dine while enjoying the beautiful rainforest/mountain view. From the living area you can take the stairs to a cozy loft that has tropical decor. It has a very comfortable queen-size bed. This side also has a roomy dressing area with a full bathroom (the studio and kitchen can be rented separately).

We also had a chance to drive around and see different places on the island and were so impressed with the spectacular views and great beaches. The north shore of Kauai is paradise and we fell in love with the village of Hanalei Bay. By the way you have the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in.
