Located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay off the Choptank River in Cambridge, Maryland, this cozy three bedroom, two bath 1955 vintage home is tucked away in a semi-rural setting on Jenkins Creek. Named after a previous owner Mr. Whitney, Whit's End offers vacationers a chance to kick back and enjoy the Chesapeake Bay experience.
Explore kayaking or bicycling the network of water trails. Blackwater Wildlife Reserve is only 15 minutes away and offers special maps and programs to view nesting bald eagles, osprey, Great Blue Heron and other wildlife that abounds on the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to take your binoculars!
Closer to home we have an abundance of robins, red cardinals and other visitors to the area who take up residence in our backyard. You will soon learn to recognize the bird calls of all our waterfront feathered friends.
Voyage back in time aboard the skipjack Nathan of Dorcester and learn about the age of working sail.
Or simply cool off in our in ground pool or try crabbing from our private dock, sipping a cool drink by the goldfish pond, or reading a good book in a hammock under the trees. Included too is a game room with ping pong table, wireless internet, cable TV in the bedrooms and living room, new energy saving washer and dryer, a book-lined den, charcoal barbeque, picnic table, screened porch, central air conditioning, hot tub and wood burning fireplace.
This year as part of our New Years' Resolution, the house and grounds are going "green". Upgrades will include a vegetable garden, butterfly garden and more birdhouses for the backyard birdwatcher.
The area is also renowned for its excellent hunting so consider the advantages for visiting the area during autumn, winter and spring. Slide into the pool side hot tub and watch the Canada geese return to the creek, snuggle in front of a wood burning fireplace and later to the soft warmth of designer flannel sheets.

There is a trundle bed in the wood paneled library and a futon bed in the living room. A new king size bed is in the master bedroom and two twin sized beds are in the two other bedrooms. The house has wireless internet and cable tv in all bedrooms as well as in the living room.
The house is pet friendly for dogs.
