The Ocean Cliff house in Moclips sits on a magnificent site overlooking the Pacific Ocean and wide sands of Sunset Beach. Enjoy the view from the deck at the cliff's edge, two decks on the upper storey of the house, or inside through the large picture windows running the length of the house on both storeys. The beautifully landscaped, cliffside backyard features a stone firepit with seating built-in - a wonderful spot for families to gather in the evenings to enjoy the fire and sunset. The house sits on two forested acres with beautiful windswept trees on the cliff's edge and giant spruce trees on the sheltered side of the grounds.
The beach can be reached by a nearby stairway (10 minute walk) or a walk or drive down the paved Analyde Gap Road, where you can park or drive on the beach (no special vehicle needed - the hard-packed sand drives like asphalt). Going down one way and back up the other makes for a great, energetic walk.
This is a 5 bedroom, 2600 square foot house. The two floors may be rented separately. Both units feature a fully-equipped kitchen, master suite with king size bed and ocean view, deluxe bathrooms, a gas fireplace, and a beautiful interior finish with marble and tile. The 3 bedroom upper level sleeps up to eight and gives access onto the two decks. The 2 bedroom lower level sleeps up to six - it has a larger common area and gives immediate access to the oceanside backyard.
Moclips has attracted visitors for a century to its wide, sandy ocean beaches. The beach stretches for 30 miles from Point Grenville on the Quinault Indian Nation to the North Jetty at the southern tip of Ocean Shores. The beach is backed up by red sandstone cliffs with a beautiful, windswept forest on top. Beautiful rivers cut through the beach to reach the ocean - the Moclips River at the north end of town being the prettiest.
